About the Role

Amana Living is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Kalgoorlie. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to residents in our residential care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify residents' functional capacity, strengths, and lifestyle goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to enhance the quality of life and independence of residents.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic activity programs to promote resident engagement and participation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) degree.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
  • Previous experience working with older adults and individuals with dementia.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
