Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Digital Transformation Lead to oversee and support multiple project managers within various program streams for our Brisbane-based client. This is a 12-month initial contract with potential for extension, offering a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support project managers across program streams, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and fostering accountability for effective project execution.
  • Oversee, monitor, and manage multiple workstreams within the overall program, ensuring alignment with key objectives and timelines, and coordinating tasks across teams.
  • Engage with IT and business stakeholders to align program goals and objectives, foster collaboration, and clear communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with program streams, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish and uphold governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with program standards, and monitoring governance processes across all workstreams.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, risks, and outcomes of program streams, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience in project and program management, focusing on IT and digital transformation projects, with expertise in change management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Deep knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure, and data governance practices, proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to align program streams with broader program goals, develop strategies for success, and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
