Job Title: Wastewater Operator

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled wastewater operator to join our team. As part of our civil operations, you will be responsible for operating, inspecting and maintaining reticulated water and wastewater systems.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to take on new responsibilities and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
  • Lead by example and ensure all work is carried out with safety as the top priority.
  • Operate, maintain, monitor and repair water and wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
  • Contribute to overtime and rosters as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III National Water Package or willingness to obtain.
  • Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) – relevant vaccinations required.
  • Experience with SAP operating system.
  • Western Australian MR or higher Class Drivers Licence.
  • Current Confined Space, Working at Heights and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
  • Experience in water supply and wastewater systems.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster.
