Job Description

Our high-performing Day Procedure Unit specializes in ophthalmology, endoscopy, plastics, orthopaedics, gynaecological and general surgery.

As a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, you will support patients through their surgical journey from preparation and admission to post-operative care and safe discharge. You will ensure every patient receives respectful, equitable and timely care.

The role involves coordinating care and providing expert patient advice to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients during their surgical journey with compassion and professionalism

  • Ensure patients receive respectful, equitable and timely care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse (IV Qualified)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within an acute care setting
  • Experience within day surgery highly regarded
  • Post graduate qualifications highly regarded though not essential
