Leadership and Team Development Opportunity

The Duty Manager position is all about leading a team of diverse personalities and creating an atmosphere that exudes fun, cleanliness, and maintenance. The main goal is to cultivate the perfect employee by ensuring adherence to procedures and providing training support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Training and Operational Excellence:
    • Engage staff through training and team-building activities that bring out the best in everyone.
    • Take charge of shifts, overseeing staff breaks, clock on/off procedures, and role assignments with unwavering precision.
  • Communication Guru:
    • Navigate through platforms like Slack, Teams, and more, keeping the team connected.
    • Handle RSA auditors and authorities, ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol.
  • Venue Atmosphere Aficionado:
    • Create an atmosphere that exudes fun, cleanliness, and maintenance.
    • Teach the team the art of perfect customer interactions, making every customer feel like a VIP.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a bar or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of different types of beverages, cocktails, and their ingredients is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • RSA certification.
