About the Role
  • Safety Focus: Develop and own the project management plan prioritizing workplace health and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Foster positive working relationships and coach your team to meet performance expectations.
  • Project Oversight: Manage project schedules, budgets, and financial performance, ensuring effective work plans are developed.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek improvements to best practices and achieve a competitive advantage.
  • Estimating: Prepare accurate estimates for new opportunities.
  • Subcontractor Management: Appoint subcontractors and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction industry project management.
  • Proven proficiency in project management methodologies and operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure.
  • A valid Car Driver's License and WHS for Managers and Supervisors certification.
  • A Diploma of Project Management is desirable.
