About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a combination of automatic and manual heavy vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Complete deliveries and pickups promptly and according to time frames, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to company standards.
- Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss, and incident reporting processes.
- Restraining loads safely and correctly using straps and chains where required.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Current and valid Heavy Vehicle License (or higher).
- Ability to work autonomously and follow instructions.
- Excellent punctuality and ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner.
- Full rights to work in Australia.
- High attention to safety and adherence to company procedures.
