About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a combination of automatic and manual heavy vehicles to transport goods across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods across our network
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre-start checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including timeframes and any issues encountered
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve delivery targets and improve overall efficiency
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Current and valid Heavy Vehicle License (or higher)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
