Job Description

Our organisation is seeking an experienced and skilled Boilermaker to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the mechanical equipment and associated fixed plant infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability in a sustainable and cost-effective manner.

About You
  • A recognised trade certificate in Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator is required.
  • Experience in the maintenance of mineral processing or heavy industrial plants, preferably within the gold industry, is necessary.
  • The ability to work in various conditions, including noise, dust, elevated work areas, confined spaces, extremes of temperature, water, and slurry, is essential.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with SAP are required.
  • A current WA drivers license and the ability to obtain a new national police clearance are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

To maintain the mechanical equipment and associated fixed plant infrastructure, including Crushers, Conveyor Systems, Pumps, Pipe Work, Ball Mill, Concentrators, Vibrating Screens & Feeders, Cranes & Hoists, Cyclones, and all associated Tanks, Launders and Steelworks.

  • Carrying out maintenance tasks in the Processing Plant and Underground De-Watering areas as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintaining and repairing equipment, performing welding, fabrication, painting, grinding, and fitting tasks.
  • Assisting with shutdown co-ordination and execution.
  • Ensuring all activities are effective through cross-functional liaison and teamwork.
