Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our external regulatory relationships, ensuring relevant subject matter expertise is available to support these engagements. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading engagement across various stakeholders, including domestic and international counterparts, government, and other external parties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading external engagements with domestic and international counterparts and government;
  • Contributing to our Parliamentary processes and supporting public appearances by our executives;
  • Staying abreast of industry developments and monitoring external regulatory developments, identifying those that may impact our objectives;
  • Developing and implementing external stakeholder strategies to support delivery of our strategic priorities and manage risk to our reputation;
  • Contribution to policy work related to our operating environment;
  • Partnering with teams across the organisation to deliver desired outcomes and engaging across the organisation to bring together subject matter experts;
  • Briefing senior executives and providing strategic advice to subject matter experts on handling sensitive matters with external stakeholders;
  • Providing feedback on draft legislation as it relates to our organisation.

  • The ability to proactively identify key developments, challenges, and opportunities in our external operating environment;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex information on a range of topics and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment;
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, public policy, or law would be highly regarded;
  • Ideal candidates would have experience working in or sound knowledge of our country's financial system, prudential regulation, and/or parliamentary system.
