Lead civil engineers are essential to the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects in Australia. They play a crucial role in ensuring that these projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing engineering design, preparing engineering calculations, technical specifications, streamlining the production of deliverables, and preparing technical reports and proposals. You will also manage engineering design teams to deliver project design outcomes and scope to deliver work within agreed budgets and schedules.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
  • CPEng preferred
  • Extensive experience working within an engineering consulting environment
  • Experience working in a broad range of infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Previous experience in civil infrastructure for projects in one or more of the defence, building civil, and transport sectors is essential in the role
