About the Role

We're seeking an experienced ITS Operations Engineer to join our world-leading Intelligent Transport Systems team at Transurban. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable transport solutions that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an escalation point and provide 24/7 support to our Traffic Control and Operations Centres
  • Maintain applications, client operation systems, desktop equipment, server equipment, specialized systems, and networked systems
  • Ensure our ITS Systems are performing to their availability and reliability targets by monitoring them closely and conducting maintenance and system upgrades
  • Monitor and maintain specialized equipment, including PABXs, Trunked radio, data network equipment, CCTV equipment, Traffic Flow Systems, PLCs, and Building Security Systems

Requirements

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in maintaining critical systems in electrical, electronic, or IT system support
  • TAFE or equivalent trade qualifications in Electrical / Electronic / Systems with 3-5 years' experience in a comparable industry or Engineering Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Systems Engineering
  • Organized, efficient, and decisive in prioritizing tasks under pressure
  • Valid driver's license
