We are seeking an Employment Law Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. This role will involve providing strategic legal advice on employment and workplace matters, developing policies and procedures, and working closely with senior management.

About the Role
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters, including performance management, disciplinary proceedings, and workplace complaints.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Monitor emerging employment law issues and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture team to manage and resolve workplace complaints and investigations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years PQE in employment law.
  • Previous experience in a leading law firm or in-house organization.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to prioritize multiple matters and stakeholders.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
