Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Darwin, NT. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading structural engineering activities across the project life cycle, from concept to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural engineering activities across the project life cycle to produce fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Produce cost-effective structural engineering reports, documents, and deliverables for inclusion in workpacks.
  • Ensure that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule.
  • Provide technical assistance to others when required.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer in Oil & Gas.
  • Experience in Offshore site environment and site surveying/scoping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the client.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Experience in the use of relevant software packages (e.g. SACS, Staad Pro).
  • Experience in the use of API, AISC, and ISO design codes.
