We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic research professional to join our dynamic team at the Dementia Research Centre. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting projects aimed at developing new therapeutic agents to combat Alzheimer's Disease.
Key Responsibilities- Provide experimental, technical and administrative support on a range of research activities including assay development, in vitro drug screening, cell culture and microscopy analysis.
- Contribute to the development and execution of research plans, protocols and procedures.
- A highly motivated individual with a strong eye for detail and a consummate team player who has a keen interest in making a lasting impact in therapeutic development for neurodegenerative diseases.
- Experience in cell culture, in vitro assays, and drug testing is ideal.
- Excellent organisational skills, a demonstrated capacity to meet tight deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills to assist in the preparation of research data.
