As a Service Delivery Specialist, you will be part of our Rolling Stock team, responsible for delivering high-quality engineering and maintenance services to support the smooth operation of our trains. Your main goal will be to optimize exams and reduce costs by collaborating with different functions such as quality, engineering, and planning.

About the Role

You will work alongside motivated colleagues in West Melbourne, reviewing maintenance activities and daily tasks to ensure the efficient delivery of our services. This role is based on a day shift roster and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively manage and maintain robust vehicle configuration change processes for modifications and trials.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement data collection processes and procedures to visualize trends in vehicle performance, analyze equipment failure rates, and calculate availability models to support projects and proposed designs.
  • Maintenance Management: Assess and analyze vehicle condition, develop preventative and corrective maintenance manuals, assist fault diagnosis, and identify production of vehicle modification programs as required.
  • Training and Development: Establish, maintain, and deliver training material in line with maintenance needs, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with the Operator regularly regarding fleet status to ensure maximum possible availability and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
About You
  • You hold an engineering degree or electrical/mechanical trade-based qualification, demonstrating your technical expertise and ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
  • You are proactive, able to manage your time effectively, and show a positive attitude, willing to take on new challenges and contribute to innovative projects.
  • Experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repair is highly valued but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to support your growth and success.
