About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Handyperson to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. As a Handyperson, you'll be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and luxurious experience. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and painting, to ensure the hotel's facilities are in excellent condition.
- Assist the Shift Engineer, Painter, Electrician, Fitter, and Carpenter as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on guest rooms and equipment to prevent issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Test and balance dosing systems for the pool and jacuzzi, and maintain inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a handyperson or maintenance role, preferably in a large hotel or residential building.
- Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to work with contractors, suppliers, guests, and colleagues.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining impeccable product standards.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
