Primary Health Care Nurse Manager

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the management of comprehensive primary health clinical services. The role involves providing clinical leadership and governance, developing and implementing strategies to manage quality and risk associated with clinical services.

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of nurses, midwives, and care workers in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient clinic operations and financial management.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and reduce health inequities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar setting.

  • Proven ability to provide clinical leadership and governance.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • Immunisation certificate appropriate to employment within a Queensland ACCHO setting.

  • Queensland Drivers Licence.

  • Ability to maintain a current CPR certificate.
