We're seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Team in Sydney. This role will work with the broader enterprise to service clients and deliver projects in the power sector across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for renewable energy projects.
  • Undertaking concept design and preparing documentation for power generation and renewable energy projects.
  • Leading and overseeing the work of project teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of GHD's knowledge and skills in power generation engineering.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders, both internal and external.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • CPEng and RPEQ are desirable.
  • 10+ Years' experience in power generation projects.
  • Experience in the design of renewables, including solar, wind, PHES, and BESS.
  • Experience performing energy yield assessments for solar farms or wind farms.
