Strategic Initiatives Lead

This role involves leading cross-sector initiatives that align with national priorities, solve critical challenges, and propel us forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives from inception to business case
  • Win, develop, and lead project delivery with external clients and strategic partners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new products, services, or standards solutions in new areas or new ways
  • Identify and drive new market development opportunities across the value chain
  • Build consensus in new, difficult, or contentious areas of activity or where the stakes are high
  • Manage complex stakeholder and industry issues as they arise
  • Maintain a network of stakeholders from industry, government, and the community
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in environment, sustainability, ESG reporting
  • Commercial acumen with opportunity identification and developing new products to drive commercial outcomes
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to bring energy and momentum to projects
  • Effective prioritization skills
