Career Opportunity: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

As a skilled construction project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects within established timelines and budgets. Your key objective will be to coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, efficient resource allocation, and exceptional quality outcomes.

  • Project Coordination & Planning: Develop detailed project plans, identify and mitigate potential risks, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Resource Management & Allocation: Optimize resource utilization, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress against project milestones.
  • Vendor Sourcing & Contract Administration: Source and engage vendors, negotiate contracts, and administer post-contract services as required.
  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project expenditures, and maintain budgetary control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Monitoring & Control: Regularly review project progress, address issues promptly, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring open and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
