This is a critical position within our organization, and we are seeking an exceptional Mine Engineer to play a hands-on role in planning and executing underground mining activities.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing drill and blast operations.
- Managing explosives procurement, storage, and inventory.
- Preparing backfill and weekly mine plans.
- Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Providing support to supervisors and underground operations.
- Conducting regular inspections of underground workings.
- Fostering collaboration with stakeholders to review and improve mine plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Essential:
- A tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical skills in Deswik mine planning software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
