The Good Guys web platform is undergoing a digital transformation project. In this role, you'll be working with the project team to shape the digital experience for The Good Guys website.
Key responsibilities include:
- Practicing user-centred design to ensure the customer is brought into the design process at every stage.
- Working closely with IT, Developers and Testers to improve the brand experience online for customers.
- Deploying design-thinking tools and techniques to perform customer research and user experience testing, user requirements analysis - including gathering insights, and creating user scenarios and task analysis.
- Analysing user feedback and activity and iterating to enhance the user experience.
- Conducting customer journey mapping including visual and interactive design to ensure the final product experience is easily understood.
- Participating and working with Customer Insights and Digital Optimisation Team in developing measurement frameworks, data collection mapping and analysis for CRO.
- Participating in competitor and customer analysis to develop solutions to improve customer engagement, problems and drive sales growth.
- Leading and working with the digital delivery and Digital Optimisation Team in AB/multivariant testing to refine the live customer experience and develop customer value proposition.
- Conducting usability testing, user requirements analysis including creating user scenarios and task analysis.
- Working within agile delivery teams and understanding the methodologies and knowledge of integrating research into agile workflows such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Providing final detailed UI design and working with delivery team to bring the final product to live.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and previous experience in a similar role in Marketing, Communications or IT with an in-depth knowledge of website development.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Strong visual communication skills with technical expertise in Figma.
- Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and usability.
- Effective communication skills to articulate design decisions, present findings, and collaborate with business, technical team members, and end users.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to achieve targets in a timely and accurate manner autonomously or under minimal supervision.
This full-time position offers a salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus superannuation and other benefits.
