**Job Opportunity for Digital Content Creator**We are seeking a skilled digital content creator to join our team. As a key member of our digital content team, you will be responsible for finding breaking stories, generating original story ideas, researching, writing, and curating content for our website and social media platforms.Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Creating high-quality content in a timely manner and meeting rolling deadlines
  • Uploading stories and publishing via our content management system (CMS)
  • Promoting content on different platforms, including social media, Google Discover, and Showcase
  • Daily use of data and dashboards to achieve agreed content benchmarks
  • Generating story ideas, pitching, and staying up-to-date with breaking lifestyle, celebrity, and parenting news, as well as developing original ideas
  • Interviewing talent
  • Staying informed about and upskilling in new technologies and media trends
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • An interest in journalism, with 12 months' experience or internships advantageous
  • A university degree in a media-related field (desirable)
  • The ability to write fast, accurate copy and meet rolling deadlines under pressure
  • An understanding of legal best practices, with additional training provided if needed
  • First-hand experience with publishing in a CMS (desired)
  • Strong grammar and research capabilities
  • BASIC photo editing and digital video skills and basic knowledge of digital video and SEO
