We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Northern Beaches Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver researched-based standards of nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing
- Provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their health care, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Maintain a professional development portfolio with a commitment to ongoing learning and development
Northern Beaches Hospital is a world-class, Level 5 delineation hospital providing a wide range of services to both public and private patients. Our hospital features 486 beds, 50-bed Emergency Department, 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres, and a range of other facilities.
Essential Criteria- Current Registration with AHPRA or In-Principle approval
- A minimum 3 years' experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Nursing environment
- Desired: Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
