Key Treasury Audit Role

As a key member of our audit consulting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the entity has proper policies and procedures in place for all treasury activities.

  • Verify that authorized personnel reconcile accounts at regular intervals and address any differences according to Entity's policy.
  • Maintain short and long-term budgets of required funds and identify sources for those funds.
  • Ensure the Entity takes decisions based on available options.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with treasury functions.
  • Review and improve internal controls within the treasury department.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3-5 years of external/internal audit experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Treasury Management within a commercial entity in Australia.
  • Formal qualifications in Accounting (completed CA or CPA).
  • Knowledgeable in SAP.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Consultative and proactive style.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills - ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines; prioritize and organize workloads.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
