About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Kookaburra, Cancer Care Ward at The Royal Children's Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of paediatric oncology nursing knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective care to patients with cancer and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to the development of paediatric oncology nursing knowledge and skills
  • Participate in professional development to enhance nursing practice
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Recent acute nursing experience, with oncology experience highly desirable
