Independent Living Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Professional to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support to help them live independently.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and assistance to our clients in their homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This may include activities such as personal care, domestic assistance, social support, and transportation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and move around with ease, as well as have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Requirements- Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
- Smartphone with internet access

About the RoleThis is a casual position, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As a Home Care Professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with unique needs and preferences. You will be responsible for providing personalized care and support, including:
- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Social support: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment, including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets, or moving boards, hearing aids, and other physical aids
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
