About this role...

This Disability Employment Services Employment Consultant will play a vital role in supporting job seekers to achieve their goals. Working closely with stakeholders, including employers and job seekers, you will deliver tailored employment solutions that meet individual needs. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, achieving great outcomes and making a real difference.

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for job seekers with local employers
  • Support job seekers to identify skills necessary for job readiness
  • Deliver high-quality service while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance job seekers' employability through training and support service referrals
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
