Accountant Role Overview
The role involves assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for various business units. This includes providing commentary on sales, inventory, pricing and costing variations, as well as material usage.

Responsibilities
  • Produce timely and accurate management reports, including analysis of key metrics.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including inventory and fixed assets.
  • Develop and improve reporting and analysis using existing systems.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Investigate revenue-generating opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor revenue and cost targets.
  • Improve business processes and technology utilization.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures documentation.
  • Conduct reviews to ensure adherence to procedures.

Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Motivated, self-driven, energetic, results-driven, and goal-oriented individual.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn and proceduralize standard tasks performed by other team members.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, or business.
  • CPA or CA qualified or nearly qualified.
  • Current Australian driver's license.
