Our client, a well-established and vertically integrated business in the food processing industry, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance function and support commercial decision-making as they continue to grow.
Operating out of a major regional hub in Victoria, they have invested heavily in modern facilities, sustainability initiatives, and innovation.

This hands-on leadership role will have you working closely with the senior executive team and play a key role in business strategy and performance.
The ideal candidate will bring both financial expertise and a commercial mindset, with prior experience in the food industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the finance team and overseeing day-to-day financial operations
Preparing and reviewing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Partnering with operations to drive financial performance
Managing compliance, audit, and risk management processes
Providing insights to support key strategic initiatives
Driving process improvements across the finance function
To be successful, you will need:
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
Strong understanding of cost accounting and operations in the food industry
CPA or CA qualification
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Full Australian working rights
Be happy to work full time from Warrnambool
