Job Title

As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high-quality food standards of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests by anticipating and attending to their needs immediately.
  • Work efficiently in the kitchen as directed on a daily basis.
  • Minimize wastage and maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Engage in cooking, baking, pastry cooking, or butchering duties.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Contribute to an environment of learning and professionalism.
  • Carry out any other related duties as directed by senior members of the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain self-appearance in accordance with our grooming standards.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with other members of the service team.
  • Maintain acceptable knowledge regarding food products.
  • Comply with all operational policies & procedures.
  • Have full knowledge of, and practice all workplace health and safety guidelines.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
