Water Security Project Manager

This project involves the construction and upgrade of three major pump stations across Nyngan and Hermidale, including new river intakes, balance tanks, surge vessels, and mechanical and electrical systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective construction methodologies and identifying areas for improvement. This includes tracking project finances, reviewing costs vs. budget, and highlighting margin impacts. The candidate will also liaise with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure project delivery within time, quality, and budget constraints.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure that all materials and services meet quality assurance requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture through pre-starts and toolbox talks.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years experience in project engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.
