Senior Project Specialist

As a seasoned project professional, you will work on the Landmark Water Security Project in NSW. This initiative involves a major infrastructure upgrade, enhancing long-term water supply for communities in Central West NSW.

You will have continuous exposure to projects, developing technical and project management skills. Additionally, you will get exposure to tender bids and submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement cost-effective construction methodologies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Track project finances, reviewing costs vs. budget and highlighting margin impacts.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.
  • Evaluate materials and services to meet quality assurance requirements.
  • Develop ITPs/ITCs, monitor quality plans, and ensure compliance.
  • Assess risks, implement hazard controls, and support incident investigations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through pre-starts and toolbox talks.
  • Review CEMP and environmental procedures before work begins.
  • Maintain QA documentation, manage project closeout, and finalize defect claims.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of project engineering experience in the Construction Industry (Civil, Utilities, and Water Infrastructure projects highly desirable).
  • Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
