Job Description

This role is responsible for designing and documenting data models, information architecture, report and dashboard architecture, and patterns. The Data Architect will work alongside the development team to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Design and document data models, information architecture, report & dashboard architecture, and patterns.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design ETL processes that meet business requirements.
  • Review and document business processes, data sources, and definitions.
  • Develop, review, and maintain data dictionaries, taxonomies, and other related artefacts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a Data Architect and Information Designer.
  • Strong experience in understanding business requirements using user stories, business process maps, use cases, user journeys, and system workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, data modelling, and database structures.
  • Strong experience with SQL coding language for data analysis and DAX.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualisation and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
