We are seeking a skilled and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, flexible and experienced professional to work on various aircraft systems, including airframe and engine.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of aircraft components, such as dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing;
- Assembling parts and sub-assemblies of aircraft structure;
- Routine servicing of aircraft, including component replacements and fluid servicing;
- Pre-flight inspections of engines and propellors, aircraft mechanical systems and structure;
- Certification of maintenance carried out in accordance with regulations.
Essential Requirements
The essential requirements for this role include:
- Mechanical experience on SAAB 340 or similar type;
- Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) and Part 66 Licence;
- Skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
- Strong team player;
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
- Passion for safe work practices;
- Valid work visa;
- Red ASIC card or ability to obtain; and,
- Current Australian Driver's licence.
