Job Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the sustainment of capability in Defence contracts. The Supply Chain Specialist will coordinate logistics, inventory activities, manage asset data within Defence systems, and assist with procurement, documentation, and reporting requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing inventory, asset data, and configuration records across Defence systems
  • Supporting procurement, spares forecasting, and planning activities
  • Contributing to the delivery of documentation, reporting, and audits
  • Liaising with Defence representatives on logistics matters when required
  • Assisting with contract administration and finance tasks
Requirements:
  • Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent Defence experience
  • Hands-on experience with Defence systems such as MILIS, IFS, or SAP
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes in a regulated environment
  • Ability to interpret, maintain, and update documentation accurately

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a passion for working in a dynamic environment.

This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills to ensure effective coordination of logistics and inventory activities.

Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively with Defence stakeholders and OEM representatives is essential to deliver outcomes that meet business objectives.
