We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our team at Teachers Health. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting the Dentist: Provide chair-side support and sterilize instruments during procedures.
- Treatment Room Preparation: Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Patient Management: Manage patient appointments, bookings, and recalls to ensure timely and efficient care.
- Patient Experience: Welcome patients and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Communication: Handle patient enquiries and coordinate patient care to ensure seamless communication.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Financial Management: Manage payments and health fund claims to ensure efficient financial processing.
- Availability: Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays is essential, with the possibility of additional shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Dental Software: Proficiency in dental software (Oasis, Examine Pro) is a plus but not essential.
