About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support compliance and land management for a major mining industry project.

As Tenure Management Officer, you will administer mining and exploration tenures, licenses, and permits. You'll monitor compliance with state legislation, conditions, and reporting obligations.

You'll coordinate tenure applications, renewals, variations, and surrenders, maintain accurate tenure registers, and ensure data integrity.

In addition, you'll engage with stakeholders regarding tenure matters, provide advice and reporting to project managers and senior leaders on tenure status, risks, and obligations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Experience in tenure management, land administration, or related fields within the mining/resources sector.
  • Knowledge of QLD mining tenure, compliance, and Indigenous land access requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tenure management systems and MS Office Suite.
