Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced gardening professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience, and be able to carry out a range of gardening tasks including lawn mowing, pruning, and planting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain outdoor spaces to a high standard
  • Cut edges with hand and ride-on mowers, whipper snipper, and other equipment
  • Prepare and plant garden beds and landscape maintenance
  • Remove litter from garden beds and driveways
  • Prune/trim shrubs and plants and remove dead branches and leaves
  • Fertilise, mulch, and maintain the health of all plants
  • Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and operating procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance on gardening tools and equipment

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience
  • Class C Driver's Licence (manual)
  • Ability to work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
