We are seeking a qualified professional to support environmental compliance in Western Australia on a mining project.

About the Role

The position is based in WA, on an iron-ore project, a key component of broader site development for a major player in the resources sector.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective environmental management plans that align with legislative requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Analyse and interpret environmental site data to inform reporting and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day environmental support and guidance to project managers and site personnel.
  • Present audit outcomes and compliance findings to the Construction and Project Managers.
Your Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an environmental advisor in a construction, mining, or heavy infrastructure setting.
  • A strong understanding of WA environmental legislation, approvals processes, and compliance obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
