About the Role

Eaton, a leading provider of intelligent power management solutions, is seeking a skilled Product Manager to drive growth in the industrial automation market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products and developing strategies to expand our presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Line Management: Oversee the development and execution of product line strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Market Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, and develop customer value propositions to drive growth.
  • Sales Support: Train sales teams on product offerings, provide technical support, and ensure they are equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Forecast and control inventory levels to meet sales demand while maintaining optimal stock turns.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotions to increase product visibility and drive sales.
  • Price List and Marketing Material: Develop and maintain accurate price lists and marketing materials to support sales efforts.
  • Tender Support: Assist sales teams in responding to tenders and proposals.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about competitor activity and market trends.
  • Compliance: Ensure products meet relevant industry standards and regulations, such as AS/NZS and IEC compliance.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical product management or sales engineering, preferably in industrial control products.
  • Industrial Automation Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial automation design principles and technologies.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software experience is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a trade qualification as an electrician would be highly regarded.
