The Opportunity

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include performing planned maintenance and carrying out major component change outs across various mine sites throughout the Pilbara and North West regions.

You will work closely with experienced team members to ensure quality OEM level work while providing great customer service to our clients. In this role, you will:

1. Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed, and driven from within – safety takes priority over everything else.
2. Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications.
3. Have experience, knowledge, and understanding of mining equipment.
4. Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in remote areas within a supported team.
5. Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
6. A police clearance and current drivers licence are essential.

1. Competitive starting wage, 15% nightshift loading, zone allowance & the potential to earn bi-annual bonuses.

3. Scaled rates – starting rate $67/hr, potential to qualify for $85/hr based on yearly performance & training completed.
4. Superannuation paid on all ordinary hours up to 12 hours per rostered shift.
5. Minimum 12hrs paid for all work days whilst working in the Pilbara on rostered days.
6. 1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Pilbara.
7. All travel hours on site paid – airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa.
8. Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking.
9. Brand new HP Laptop provided to new employees – no more paper timesheets.
10. 12hrs paid fatigue days whilst in the Pilbara.
11. 210hr annual leave & 10 days' personal leave per annum.
