Production Team Leader

We are seeking an accomplished production professional with a strong leadership style and passion for driving team performance in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality products efficiently and safely during our afternoon shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, support, and coordinate production staff to meet daily targets and objectives.
  • Act as the link between management and frontline staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure production targets and schedules are met in a timely manner by monitoring progress and adjusting resources as needed.
  • Complete shift reports, performance logs, and administration associated with the role to maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift team meetings, shift handovers, and briefings to promote open communication and set clear expectations.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust resources to meet output goals by identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when necessary to resolve problems promptly and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all products meet required quality specifications and identify defects to implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and conduct regular performance reviews to assess progress and provide feedback.
  • Maintain health and safety compliance by monitoring safety, quality, and operational standards to ensure a safe working environment.
