Lead Hydrogeologist – Groundwater Management

Our Geotechnical Engineering and Geosciences Group is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to take on a leadership role within our Groundwater Resources team. This team consists of experienced Hydrogeologists dedicated to the sustainable management of groundwater resources.
As a key member of our team, you will engage in a mix of technical responsibilities, project leadership, business development, and mentoring within a supportive and inclusive environment. We provide opportunities for professional growth and collaboration on diverse projects across various regions.
In this role, you will be involved in:
Leading hydrogeological investigations and assessments, acting as the Technical Lead Advising clients on groundwater resource management, including policy and planning Designing and overseeing both desktop and field investigations related to groundwater Contributing to civil infrastructure design and reviews for significant projects Managing the delivery of data analytics and technical reporting Developing business strategies and identifying emerging market opportunities Building and maintaining strong client relationships through your industry expertise Preparing and reviewing proposals and bids for projects Mentoring team members and sharing knowledge across the Groundwater Resources teamWhat you will bring to the team:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial experience in Hydrogeology, preferably in a consulting context Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences A collaborative mindset focused on knowledge sharing and capacity building Technical expertise in groundwater investigations and resource evaluations Familiarity with groundwater regulations and policies Skills in geochemistry and spatial data analysis Ability to conceptualize groundwater settings and identify associated risks Experience in numerical model development and data interpretation Proficiency in project management and administration Strong report writing capabilitiesInterested in joining our team?
