As a seasoned nurse, you will be working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team within Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Your primary role will be to assist with and care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as surgical scrub/scout including administration of procedural sedation for patients having various routine and complex Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Provide post-procedural care to patients after Interventional Radiology procedures, including post-sedation monitoring and responsibility for safe discharge.
- Prepare, assist with, and provide care to patients undergoing diagnostic examinations across a variety of imaging modalities in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year's experience post-graduation within a clinical setting.
- A highly motivated individual with a passion for continuous professional development and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated elevated levels of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
- A proven customer service focus and problem-solving ability.
- Specialized clinical skills, including conscious sedation administration, scrub/scout for interventional procedures and standing orders.
