Job Title: Experienced Enrolled Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have recent completion of a Diploma in Nursing or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse upon completion of the Diploma.

About the Role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach related to the goals of care determined by the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse) and within professional role limits and Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice.

In the delivery of nursing care, the Enrolled Nurse will work under both direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and consult with the registered nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within Local Health District (LHD) and Service policy, particularly in relation to the administration of medications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled nurse;
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Demonstrated evidence of recent clinical placement in an acute care setting.

The program provides full-time or part-time employment opportunities in facilities across Northern Sydney Local Health District, including Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital, Macquarie Hospital, Mona Vale Hospital and Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice (AYAH), Royal North Shore Hospital and Ryde Hospital.
