Job Title: Senior Manager, CTC Risk

We are seeking an experienced risk management professional to lead our Commodities, Trade and Carbon (CTC) Risk Team.

About the Role
  • This is a senior leadership position that requires strong strategic thinking, effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with significant commodities footprint primarily including commodity traders, vertically integrated trading companies, and commodity product-only clients.
  • Leading the Carbon lending portfolio, focusing on developing carbon lending initiatives to increase carbon credit supply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing client relationships and providing guidance on risk management best practices.
  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on risk management objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in credit risk, assessing new transactions, and portfolio management, preferably in a Line 2 function having exercised meaningful personal approval authority.
  • Strong working knowledge of Trade Finance products, including structured trade products.
  • Advanced understanding of derivative and commodity-related products, commodity markets, and related industry knowledge.
