About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at Queensland Rail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunication and electronic equipment
  • Maintain records and associated documentation
  • Report on actual work performed against the scheduled maintenance program
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
About You
  • Sound skill in the installation, maintenance, and fault rectification of telecommunications equipment and systems
  • Driver's License
  • Electronics Trade Certificate (similar qualifications in electronics considered)
  • Must have capacity to travel and work within regional Queensland
  • Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required
