Join a Team of Skilled Welders

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a welder with our company, you will be responsible for welding metal parts together using various techniques and equipment.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that requires no experience, but a strong interest in welding and a willingness to learn. You will work on a variety of projects, including construction, manufacturing, and maintenance.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Read drawings, work orders, and production schedules to understand job tasks.
  • Demonstrate safe use of all tools and equipment associated with welding.
  • Operate manual or semi-automated welding equipment to conduct stick welding (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), MIG welding (Gas Metal Arc Welding), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), TIG welding (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding).
  • Keep documentation and records accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare items to be welded.
  • Weld risers, process piping spools, and structural sections using qualified welding procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Construction White/Blue Card.
  • A current Australian C-Class Driver's Licence.
  • A Trade Certificate.
  • The ability to pass a 6G weld test to AS/NZS 4041.
  • Apply First Aid.
  • A High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desired).
  • A High Risk Work Licence – EWP (desired).
